High quality re-carved and reprinted mid-century edition of a classic Hiroshige 19th century ukiyo-e print by Kyoto publishers Uchida Art Co, Ltd, who have been keeping the values of the Golden Age of Japanese printmaking of the ukiyo-e era alive.
Hiroshige is a master of landscape, and his work came to have a marked influence on Western painters such as Degas towards the close of the 19th century. This woodcut print is a good example of his work.
